Additionally, students in grades 4 and 5 exhibited projects, but were not judged. The caliber of projects was stunning! Twenty-six students, representing nine schools will advance to the Los Angeles County Office of Education's Science and Engineering Fair, to be held March 28 - 30, at the Pasadena Convention Center. Bob Ross presented scholarships, based on essays, to seven graduating high school students. He also awarded cash prizes to many of the students competing at the fair, in memory of Sarah Ross, a long time Pomona teacher, who was dedicated to science education.
